Size matters

Medieval Micro

Build a medieval creation in micro-scale. Landscapes or fairytales, grand epics or pocket-sized stories – this is the place for it.

As long as it’s smaller than minifigure-scale, you can let your imagination go wild!

Custom-Built Trophy

A tiefling warlock in their study – will those candles light up your display case soon

Built by Markus Rollbühler. Shipped from Germany.

40478: Mini Disney Castle

A micro-scale rendition of one of the most famous castles in the world – you’ll like this if you’re into spires or gold elements!

Everdell or Elvendale?

The
Enchanted Forest

Lush and mysterious, the enchanted forest beckons with a world of wonders waiting to be explored. Can you imagine its secrets and stories? Its denizens, its elusive creatures?

Step into this ancient domain, where forest magic offers extraordinary possibilites: Show us shimmering faeries or mischievous sprites, forest societies or ancient ruins – or anything else that might be found beneath towering trees!

Custom-Built Trophy

A tiny poet amongst giant mushrooms and snails – will he be writing tales about you soon?

Built by Markus Rollbühler. Shipped from Germany.

71459: Stable of Dream Creatures

A whimsical home for creatures fantastical and not – and a colorful parts pack should you win it!

Of Temples and Torii Gates

Far East Elegance

This year we journey to the Far East where harmony is ever-present and noble warriors show unwavering discipline. Where sacred monasteries meet breathtaking ricefields it might just be time for a cup of tea.

Delicate cherry blossoms, ornate pagodas, or careful calligraphy – take us to medieval Asia and show us its beauty!

Custom-Built Trophy

A warrior from the Far East – calm and composed. Much like your MOCs for this category?

Built by Markus Rollbühler. Shipped from Germany.

80047: Mei’s Guardian Dragon

An imposing dragon awaits one lucky explorer of the Far East – gold and ornate, full of whimsical detail and useful elements and accents of teal.

Wickedly Charming

Magical Minifigures

Mysterious, potentially wicked, but never late, nor early: Our figbarf category is about wizards and witches, about druids and fortunetellers, and about anyone else that is wielding magic – be it for good or evil!

To reach the minimum requirement of 5 minifigures for this category, feel free to show other members of their coven or household – or even a prisoner that nibbled on their edible house.

Minimal decorative builds are allowed but the focus should be on your minifigures.

Custom-Built Trophy

This brickbuilt trophy will be unveiled soon. We’re sure the wait will be worth it!

Built by Markus Rollbühler. Shipped from Germany.

40560: Professors of Hogwarts

Between turning to page 394 and turning into a cat, this one might conjure memories or quotes. Or simply supply pieces to your collection, both decorated and colorful.

Culinary Creations

Fantastic Feasts and Where to Find Them

Breakfasts, second breakfasts, elevensies, luncheons, afternoon teas, dinners or suppers – what matters in the life of a hobbit, matters here: This category is all about food, fantastical or not!

Show us a royal dining party, a stealthy hunter stalking a deer, a tavern serving drinks or those men and women cooking away in the king’s kitchen!

Custom-Built Trophy

This bard is having a blast in the local tavern! Maybe they’ll be playing in your house pretty soon?

Built by Markus Rollbühler. Shipped from Germany.

31131: Downtown Noodle Shop

More modern than medieval, but food nonetheless! And a parts pack of all kind of useful bits and pieces!

Collaborative Competitors

The Crazy
Goat-Cart Race

Competitors from across the lands have gathered for this contest of the ages: Heroes on horses, barbarians on boars, the eponymous goat carts, and somewhere in the back is talk of a griffon – all about to compete for the big trophy!

Work together as a Team of Two to cover this crazy race. To enter, create a MOC each (for a total of two per team), showing a competitor and their means of transport, carts or not!

Custom-Built Trophy

Inspired by the winning entries by Cecilie and DR. Church.

Built by Markus Rollbühler. Shipped from Germany.

Pixel Painters

Digital Only? Yes, Please!

Digital entries are welcome for every category! However, digital entries will be judged separately and will not be in the running for the respective category prizes. Instead there are two separate prizes for the two highest-scoring digital entries.

– You are free to use any software of your choice, and there is no restriction on what elements or colors you can use nor if your build is actually physically possible.
– Digital entries do not count towards the Dragonslayer. However they will be tracked on the Hall of Fame as a separate score.

Custom-Built Trophy

What does the crystal ball say? Will this fortune teller be in your future?

Built by Markus Rollbühler. Shipped from Germany.

21342: The Insect Collection

Colorful and creative – much like the creations that should come out of this!

There can only be one

The Dragonslayer Award

Those that aspire to more can compete for the Dragonslayer Award: A title bestowed on the highest scoring builder each year, it grants them a seat at the round table, a virtual gallery of the best castle builders out there.

For a shot at the Dragonslayer Award you will want to build in all six categories and bring your A-game! There can only be one!

21343: Viking Village

A cozy home in the North, this village will welcome the Dragonslayer appropriately! A banquet hall to celebrate and ornate weaponry from the local blacksmith – what more could you ask for?

This prize can be won in addition to the category prizes.
