Hold your horses

Beasts of Burden

Pulling heavy carts or carrying their owners into battle, many a medieval story wouldn’t be complete without the trusty steeds and good-hearted working animals that peasants and nobility alike need to rely on.

Be it Mûmakils ferrying archers into battle, packhorses loaded with exotic goods, or fluffy oxen ploughing a field – as long as your entry features a creature put to work, you’ll find a home for it in this category!

Custom-Built Trophy

A prince on his mighty steed – maybe he will rule over your display case soon?

Built by Markus Rollbühler. Shipped from Germany.

10375: How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless

If you wanted to learn how to train a dragon, this prize is for you – saddle, food and bambi eyes free of charge!

Oriental Adventures

Arabian Knights

Flying carpets, hidden caves full of riches, seas of sands, and magical lamps – there’s a whole new world to discover: Set out on your trusty camel and go on adventures, and come back to tell the tale – we really do hope you do like sand!

Be inspired by the Arab World, from Morocco to the Middle East, and its rich tapestry of heroic tales, ornate designs and beautiful vistas. Show us dazzling places, bustling bazaars and the dunes of the endless desert – just beware of street rats and their little monkeys!

Custom-Built Trophy

This custom trophy will make for an amazing prize – once unveiled, that is.

10359: Fountain Garden

If you’d like to unwind in this tranquil garden and scheme what to use those beautifully decorated tiles for, better win this category!

Spocks & Lizards beware!

Rock, Paper, Scissors

The medieval ages had their fair share of conflicts and warfare: Big rocks were flung, sharp swords were swung, and science tried to stay ahead of it all. It was all but a giant game of rock, paper, scissors.

Consider bringing a catapult to an infantry fight, or have a samurai’s katana slicing through the paper walls of a dojo – as long as your entry illustrates how one of the titular keywords is defeating another one, you might have a shot at first place!

A giant elemental pickaxe – or a basic brick parts pack: Let’s see if you’ll get to head into the mountaing to do some mining!

Stronger Together

Faction Action

Manning a castle, leading a band of adventurers or robbing the prince’s carriage with your merry men in green-tights: With all of that, the proper outfit is key, so people feel like they belong!

To reach the minimum requirement of 5 minifigures for this category, show us all the important members of your little faction: A leading figure will surely be involved but what people do they surround themselves with? Are there just different types of soldiers or do they employ a bard or a cook?

This category is all about the minifigures – as such your entries should only contain characters and their accessories. To keep things fair, larger side-builds will result in a deduction of points.

Just the right prize for your category-winning faction to go up against! Let’s hope the mighty wings and the fire-breathing won’t deter them from winning.

Piece of Cake

Cotton Candy Kingdom

Chocolate rivers and ice cream castles, marshmallow meadows and wafer windmills – the Cotton Candy Kingdom has plenty on offer for brave adventurers and sweet tooths alike. Eye candy has a totally different meaning here!

Show us brave gingerbread knights fighting the cookie monster, jousts with lollipop lances, or a quiet liquorice lake complete with pop rocks and chocolate frogs – and we can’t wait to see what the icing on your cake will be!

10362: French Café

How about some rest with a hot beverage in this parts pack of an establishment? Only if you win though, of course.

Collaborative Conspirators

The Heist of the Century

Work together as a Team of Two to plan and execute a heist that will become the tale of the town! It is on you to plot a daring deception, a fearless infiltration or a dashing escape – in short, a tale so fabulous it shall soon be heralded as the „Heist of the Century“.

To enter, create a MOC each (for a total of two per team) that illustrate your story. Will you be stealing the crown jewels? Rig an election? Show your crew scheming before or celebrating after the deed? It is completely up to you – just make sure your entries look coherent!
